Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Our annual 4-H garage and bake sale is this coming Saturday to coinside with city wide garage sales.  The town will just be crazy with people to where it is even hard to drive down the streets.  We baked 14 dozen cookies, a pan of brownies, made some candy and goat milk fudge for the bake sale.  These cookies are a new recipe we tried and they are excellent, gives a little kick to the regular oatmeal cookie.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup chucky peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

  • Cream butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla and mix well. Gradually add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.  Stir in the oatmeal and chocolate chips.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
